Privacy Policy

KalamTech games · Effective 27 October 2026

This policy explains what information our games collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to every mobile game published under the KalamTech name (for example Ceaseless Defense and Last Hope) and to this website.

Who we are. KalamTech games are published by Human Heroes Ltd (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at unity@service.kalam.tech.

The Human Heroes educational apps have their own privacy policy at humanheroes.co.uk/policy.html. This policy does not cover them.

1. Information we collect

You do not need to create an account or give us your name to play. Our games and the services built into them collect the following automatically:

  • Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, app version.
  • Identifiers: the mobile advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS when you allow tracking), the iOS vendor ID, app instance and installation IDs, and a push notification token if notifications are on.
  • Approximate location: country or region, derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Gameplay and usage: sessions, levels played, progress, in-game currency, ads watched, and similar events used to balance and improve the game.
  • Crash and performance data: crash reports, error logs and performance data.
  • Purchases: what you bought and the transaction record. Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never receive your card or bank details.
  • What you send us: your email address and message if you contact us.

2. How we use it

  • To run the game, save your progress and deliver rewards and purchases.
  • To show ads, including optional rewarded ads, and to measure how ads perform.
  • To understand how players use the game so we can fix problems and improve it.
  • To diagnose crashes and keep the game stable.
  • To send notifications you have allowed, such as when a reward is ready.
  • To answer support requests, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

3. Advertising

Our games are free and are funded by ads. Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay, a mediation service that requests ads from partner ad networks. These services may use your advertising ID and device information to show ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure results and, where allowed, to personalise ads. The networks we authorise to sell our ad space are listed in our app-ads.txt file.

You can limit ad tracking at any time:

  • Android: Settings → Privacy (or Google) → Ads, then delete your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation.
  • iOS: choose “Ask App Not to Track” when asked, or go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

You will still see ads after opting out, but they will be less tailored to you.

4. Services we use

Not every game uses every service listed. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy:

5. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers above, so they can provide their services to us, and when the law requires it. If our business or a game is sold or transferred, player information may move with it under this policy. We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Analytics and crash data are kept for the periods set by each provider. Your game progress is stored on your device and is removed when you uninstall the game.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email unity@service.kalam.tech with the game name and, if you can, your in-game player ID. We will reply within 30 days. You can also:

  • reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad tracking (see section 3);
  • turn off notifications in your device settings;
  • stop all collection by uninstalling the game.

8. Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security and international transfers

We and our providers use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
